Covid-19 measures

„Stay on course – stay healthy!“

The skischool Hochzeiger-Pitztal will try to provide our guests an impressive winter experience in the ski season 2020/21. To protect the health and safety of our guests and employees, we have prepared the following measures and recommendations:

  • Outdoor sport / keep distance

Skiing is an outdoor sport. Because of that the risk of infection is much lower. We guarantee to keep the protective distance everywhere as good as possible and we will minimize all personal contact points.
  • Online booking

Our guests can book the ski course conveniently from home. So they can go straight to the respective meeting point and do not have to come into our office.
  • Unbundling of meeting points / assembly points

The meeting points / assembly points are expanded and generously chosen so that a corresponding unbundling is achieved.

  • Reduced group size / group composition

The group size is chosen to be manageable and kept as small as possible.
An attempt is also to retain the group composition which was made at the beginning. We will try to be as flexible as possible so that all of our guests can take part in the ski courses.

We recommend again to book the courses online!

  • No kindergarten or baby care!

We ask for your understanding that it’s temporarily unable to offer this offer due to the current situation!
We will try to to do a child care outdoor and refer to our Pitzipark and the snow adventure.

Private baby care is possible on request.

  • Staggered offer Pitzipark / Pitzi courses

The Pitzi courses for 3 and 4 year old children in the mornings are staggered in two blocks: 9:15 am - 10:45 am or 11:00 am - 12:30 pm.
  • Guests with symptoms of illness

When symptoms of illness appear, especially Covid-19 symptoms, it is not possible to take part in the ski course.
We ask for your understanding! This is the only way we can protect each other.
  • Possibility to cancel

When the course was booked online it can be canceled free of charge and without giving any reasons if you have chosen our cancellation insurance (EUR 5,- / booking) up to 3 pm the day before the course begins.

Even without insurance, we will find very accommodating solutions.

  • Safety for our employees

Our employees will implement and comply our Covid-19 recommendations for you responsibly. We assure to use all possibilities in terms of security!
Our employees are equipped with mouth and nose protection.
  • Hygiene / cleaning

Our facilities (ski school offices, children's restaurant, warm-up room, Pitzipark, practice areas, etc.) are constantly cleaned and disinfected.

  • Mouth and nose protection / hand disinfection

In all indoor areas of our ski school, we ask our guests to wear mouth and nose protection. We also expect hand disinfection when entering our facilities (ski school offices, toilet facilities, children's restaurants, warm-up room, etc.).

  • Ski race with award ceremony / ski biathlon

Our guest ski race will take place weekly as usual. The start intervals are increased in order to avoid possible congestion in the start and finish area. The award ceremony is held outdoor within the group.

The popular ski biathlon will also take place as usual.

  • Show on Snow / children's parties / boarder parties

For our common safety, the events Show on Snow, Children's Party and Boarder Party cannot take place.
But there will be some group-internal activities.
  • Children's access to the gondola

In order to accelerate the access to the gondola, our children's ski school groups are directed via another, newly installed entrance.

  • Alternatives with distance

As alternatives with distance, we refer to our offers of private lessons, snowshoeing and ski tours.

  • Capacity for private lessons will be increased

The capacity for private lessons will be increased.
We recommend again to book the lessons online!
  • Measures appropriate to the situation

All measures can be changed appropriate to the situation to protect our guests and employees. We ask our guests for their understanding!
